HORIZON COLLATOR INFO:

The Standard QC-P10 (10 bin) and QC-S10 (10 bin ) Tabletop Collators are rugged, reliable, productive, and cost effective. The QC-P10 collates up to 3,300 sets per hour, while the QC-S10 handles up to 3,900 sets per hour. Each of these systems handle a variety of stock (up to 11" x 17") with minimal adjustment, and feature self-setting miss and double-overlap detection, straight- or offset stacking, and an easy-to-use control panel.

A "convenience" copier can make due with a "convenience" 10 or 20-bin sorter for most applications it is used for. On the other hand, a digital duplicator (or other printing device) works best in combination with an off-line collator that can effectively assemble larger quantities of finished sets. These sets are cost-effectively produced one page/sheet at a time on a duplicator and then productively brought together into the proper sequential order through the use of a collator. The sets can be stapled, left loose, bound or made into booklets. Collators are versatile, flexible and almost always necessary in digital duplicator (printing) environments since duplicators run much like a press - running many copies of a document at a time.

The Standard QC-P10 is a ten-station vertical tabletop collator that can be placed in-line with the PS-P61 stapler. The QC-P10 can also be connected to the affordable Standard F4 bookletmaker for an ultra-low-cost bookletmaking system, or to the Standard Horizon SPF-9 bookletmaker and FC-9 face trimmer which boasts some large-system features in a compact but highly productive design.
